What are your thoughts on the legalization of Marijuana? Obviously it hasn't happened and probably won't in our lifetimes but just wanted to know if you would vote for or against it. I would vote for it for a few reasons. Seriously I am all for making Alcohol illegal before anything. Here are my thoughts on this topic:
1. It's better than drinking and safer. More people die from drinking and driving and not smoking and driving.
2. It's not a gateway drug as some people say. It's that person's decision to move on to a harder drug, it's not the marijuana.
3. Those Anit-Drug commercials are so fake. Impaired judgement? sorry but what those commercials don't tell you is that marijuana was laced with a harder substance. I have talked to many people who have smoked, more than 40 people. Most girls as well who have neverh ad that happened or knew anyone that has happened to. I have never met someone who didn't know what they were doing because of marijuana. How many people can say they don't remember what happened after they drank? A lot.
4. How many people have gotten beat up because someone was so high and was too crazy? How many people started fights because they were so high and wanted to start trouble? Noone wants to fight when they're high, they're too lazy and relaxed.
Mainly it's illegal because of lies. When it first came out people were saying how harful it was and how it brought out violence in people. How it caused men to hurt women and everything. Well you know what? None of those people smoked it before so how would they know? Cigs cause more damage yet that's legal as is alcohol. That's just some of my thoughts on this. I want to know you're thoughts on this. Thanks.
