I don't see Martin's name as the mod here.Is there something wrong? I hope he is not gone as I know that I and many, many others value his input in this and other forums. Please don't leave Martin. I hope this is only temporary.

Your eyes are not deceiving you Sara, Martin has stepped down as moderator but has promised that he will continue to post. He tried to bow out quite sometime back but was persuaded to stay by me sitting on him and thumping him into submission.

The door is open, he can return to moderating any time that he wants, he knows that.

I know that I am not the only person who has found him to be extremely helpful, and knowledgeable. Also I just couldn't live without his wit and puns, the place just wouldn't be the same without them, and him.

That won't do. (although thanks for the information, Sue)
I want Martin in here with a personal guarantee that he will not go away. He will continue to post in both practical and comical ways. He will promise to come back as a mod when he finds he can. He will not leave. There. So? Martin?

Hello there! I'm still around and plan to stay that way. It's only the Moderator bit that has changed. I can still continue to write extremely sensible posts and make thoroughly daft remarks/puns once in a while without being a Moderator.

I don't post as often as I once did but I'm still lurking about here every day reading what people have to say. If I feel I can be helpful around the computer forum, I'll certainly try and be so.

I've unstitched the stripe on my arm that got sewn on when I became a Moderator. At least Mrs TW now doesn't have to put up with me pointing to it every now and then and saying, "I'm in charge!" when points of order come up.

I'm not gone from FunTrivia. You can't get rid of me that easy!

Thanks

Martin

Martin,

I'm so happy to see you haven't left us completely. I've always looked forward to reading your responses because I knew we'd always get the most correct information possible. And, you're quite funny.

Just to let you know, I haven't forgotten the help you gave me with my avatar. It was a small gesture for you, but for me, it was such a wonderful surprise.

I hope that someday you return to us as a moderator. But, until then, it's good to know you'll still be here as a member.
