I have an old anagram which I can't find the answer to...

You're supposed to take the letters "ACEFHIJLMOX" and rearrange them to spell a three word phrase or person with the initials M,J,& F...

Of the form M?? J?? F???? where ? is a letter...

Anybody know the answer?...

If you count a middle initial as a word, then it makes:

Michael J. Fox

I thought it was Michael J Fox as well, until you look at how he says the words must be formed.

Quote:

Of the form M?? J?? F???? where ? is a letter...

M_ _ J_ _ F_ _ _ _

I think the number of question marks must have been more figurative than literal, just referring to some unknown letters rather than the specific number of each, and I can't see a way to make anything else meaningful from those letters

I guess we need researcher to clarify his/her question, then. I took it to mean literally, they needed the answer to fit those spaces.

Hi...Researcher here...

I meant the question marks to be taken literally...

One letter per question mark...

But now that I see the name "Michael J Fox" my instincts tell me that's the right answer...

Whoever made the question must have been REALLY tired that day...

No wonder I couldn't solve it...

I'd like to say "Thank You" for your help...

well you could make Max Joe Flich out of it, but this is not a famous name so probably not.
