Some advice is given on how to avoid falling victim to this. Turn off the option to acquire licenses automatically for protected content is one measure. Also, those using Media Player 10 and XP SP2 are not directly vulnerable. However, all this means is that the adware won't install automatically. You can still be tricked into installing it, so have a read of the above links and beware.
