St George aren't a shoe in. Pffft. Although they get the two points for the bye they can't improve their differential which if the Tigers have a good game, which they will (oh god, please!!!) they might even jump over the dragons. ow good would that be???

Through a question set by Gtho on here I got to meet Syd Williams who scored the try that game. Thought you meant that year you supported Balmain they came last and parra up the top

It would have been great meeting Syd Williams. In my young days I met (briefly) Len Kileen and Peter Bolton and in later years Keith Barnes. Keith Barnes came to my grandfathers funeral many years ago (through working with my aunt) it was hard not getting pretty excited about that in such a sombre occasion. Let's throw a few ifs around ... please, humour me here. Now, broncos lost last night, dragons have the bye, if the eels lose (Raisers have beaten them last 4 times) and the Tigers win by more than 9 points do you know where that will put the Tigers? ANyone want to have a guess? Oh alright - I'll tell you. FIRST ... I have everything crossed.

How weird is it going straight from a live footabll game and scitching over to live cricket. Seasons don't mean anything anymore lol
