Have you got the phone off the hook and the fridge stocked?

Hope it is as exciting as the AFL!

It begs the question that crops up every year- does the week off actually have an advantage?

St George looked very rusty, and made silly mistakes that a favourite should not do.

Congrats to the Tigers- they look good!

Did anyone get onto the 150/1 offered mid-season?

I've just looked at the SportsTab odds. Nth QLD are now $4.10 and the Tigers actually started the match favourites ($1.85 to St George's $2.10).

Hey Copago! You must have been letting the red dust of the outback seep into your brain! If Wests -Tigers go anywhere near winning a premiership in the next ten years, I will walk backward over the Simpson Desert.

Wow - cowboys beat Parramatta 29 - 0. SOrry Kevin.

So Tigers v Cowboys in the grandfinal next Sunday night.

And as no surprise to anyone I'm tipping a Tigers win.

NRWhat? Go the Swans!! No seriously, fancy picking today to play your worst game of the season. And do you think I took my own advice and put a lazy hundred on the Cowboys? Nooooo. Good luck to Copago and the Tigers, let's keep the JJ Giltinan Shield/Winfield Cup/whatever it's called these days, in Sydney (at least the shield stays here thanks to us!).

Got my ticket. Will be behind the goalposts (not sure what end) 26 rows back. Look out for me when Brett Hodgson is kicking the goal to win the premiership for the Tigers!

Don't suppose anyone else is going?

OKay - leaving tomorrow to spend weekend in Sydney including the GF. I keep thinking about it and getting butterflies and then grinning like and idiot if I think about a win then back to butterflies. It's almost not worth making the eight! No scrap that cause this is bloody fantastic!!!! Although I may change that come Monday morning.
