I just came across a new (?) addictive computer game. (I'm not sure if it's really new, but I never heard of it before )
It is called Bookworm, and the aim of the game is to find as many words as possible in a field of random letters (the longer the word is the more points you get).

I got up to level 10 (I think it was called Librarian) and my longest word was "scrolled"

I used to play it online a while back, it is good, but I tired of it.

I love it! I found it almost too addictive though, so try not to play unless I have plenty of time on my hands!

Yes, it's definitely addictive.

I spent the money to get the downloaded version. It has an "action game" option where the letters move even if you haven't made a new word. Sometimes that's helpful because it opens up new possibilities, but sometimes it's frustrating because something moves just when I've realized that I could make a word there.

So it is an "old" game after all
That just shows once again that I am a bit slow sometimes. No wonder my sister calls me a turtle

I tried the action version as well, but you are right Julia, it can be quite frustrating
