You can buy a special treat, add it to all the money that you are saving on bus and train fares now that you have your OAP travel pass.

Oops! Forgot to weigh in -

Currently I am at 76.5 kg/168.65 lbs/a tiny fraction over 12 stone. If I can get down to 10 and a half stone then I will be happy.

This is exactly what I posted on 14 February, so although I haven't lost any, I am definitely eating much more healthily. Much more. I think this is part of the way to go so that it becomes the norm. For some totally unknown reason I have lost complete interest in chocolate which is something unheard of.

If fact, all of the bad things aren't holding my attention at the moment. Maybe that is because I read about all the cr*p that goes into them.

I've managed to lose another two pounds this week, in spite of a bit of a blow-out on Wednesday. I'm now 14 st 9 lb (205 lb; 93 kg).

So, you're becoming less of a TubbyTom, and more of a TabbyTom! Well done, Tabby. We hope there'll be even less of you next week!

Up half a kilo from last week but I had one big slip and am beating myself about the head, basically because I was lazy.

Other than that I am definitely eating more healthy foods so that gives me a bit of a lift.

I did my initial weigh-in last Tuesday. I've started a regular exercise program, and as of this morning, I have lost 3 pounds. That is a total of 15 pounds since Christmas. YAY! I ahve a horribly long way to go, though. I had lost 80 pounds before my dad died, and afterwards, I gained about 60 of it back. I recently decided it was time to get a lever under my rear, get it off the computer chair, and get out and exercise. We have a lake behind our apartments with a 2 1/4 mile walking trail around it. With the added walk down to the lake and back (back is all uphill.. the hardest part of the whole walk!) it is maybe a little over 2 1/2 miles. I'm trying to do the walk every day, unless there is bad weather.

It sounds as though you have a beautiful place in which to walk so it should be a breeze. Makes a difference to walking in a CBD environment with lots of concrete.

Congrats on the weight loss.

It is very nice, and I'm very lucky. When the weather is bad, I can treadmill, but I get bored too easily since there is no scenery.

Thanks. I'm hoping to see another 3 pounds next week.

It looks as if the winter is finished, so I think I'll have to do some walking too.

I'm down another 3 lb to 14 st 2 lb (198 lb; 89.8 kg).

And another loss of 1 lb this week, making me 10 stone 8 pounds. But planning to enjoy myself over the Easter weekend, back to the grindstone on Tuesday!

Well done Jane and everyone!
I have a message from Sue to say she now weighs 11 stone 12lb, which is a drop from 13 stone 4lb at the start. She would not recommend the method, but is well thrilled.
Easter eggs and hot cross buns are not helping me at all.

Okay, I had to check this on two different scales, and I got the same results..

I lost 11 pounds this week...

Now most of that is water weight, but I'm still excited. I'm doing the atkins diet, and super charging it with some serious exercise (walking around the lake and treadmilling).

Also, a few of the girls at work are doing a challenge with me. There are about 7 of us, and we are going to put $10 each into a pot. At the end of our challenege (3 months) the one with the most weight loss wins the money.

<--what my face looked like when I saw the number on the scale

Eleven pounds in a week sounds absolutely fantastic: at this rate you shouldn’t have too much trouble in scooping the pot. Congratulations!
