ing Prolific Registered: Wed Mar 30 2005 Posts: 1636 Loc: Canberra ACT Australia	Just to let you all know, wedding went wonderfully well and I recommend 'eloping' to anyone who is in doubt. We had arranged to meet our parents at the courthouse, but had told them it was just a convenient place to meet to go on to the [story we had made up to get them all there]. Then five minutes before we went in we 'confessed our lie' and told them why we were really there. They couldn't have been more thrilled! But the best part was they didn't have a chance to worry or interfere, so we got exactly what we wanted: a simple, relaxed, short ceremony. Sigh....
