Some interesting twists and turns tonight! Two sent packing. One I agreed with completely (and only, or mostly, for his own good - the last thing I need to see on TV is someone having a heart attack. And he was really a burden to his tribe. He didn't seem like a bad fellow, though. Realistically, he was the most logical choice to go). As for the other one sent off...I think that was perhaps logical in a way but I would have liked to see her stick around for a while. Clearly, however, I'm sure no one wanted to go head-to-head with her in a challenge after the merge comes. Poor Ibrahim (sp.)! He sure blew it but I haven't seen a consistent pattern of him doing that. And that James [I think that's his name. He's the one who looks like a skinny Danny Bonaduce ] annoys me on sight!

There were no good choices in last nights Tribal council (on the Ulong side of the fence). I don't think anyone really wanted to see her leave but had to someone's name down on the paper. I hated to see any of them go...I think Ibrahim saved himself at the last minute with his little speech - I thought he was a goner for sure...
I did however agree with Koror's vote. Now if only Caryn and Katie would leave!

I am so sad that Angie is gone! She was one of my favorites on the show! I was SO impressed with Coby, when they were talking about their reward (eating stew in front of Ulong), and he said that they shouldn't rub it in Ulong's faces that they were enjoying a meal. I thought that was so sweet and considerate! You know, when this show first started, I didn't think I would like him at all, but he has really impressed me! And Willard was definitely the best choice to go for Koror! When i read his CBS profile, I thought he would be really outgoing for some reason, but he didn't say or do much of anything! Quote:
Final thought: Greg and Jenn... Blech!
I agree with you 100% on this one! Did anyone hear her laugh? I have never heard anything so annoying in my entire life! Coby was dead-on when he called them "Ken and Barbie". All I can say is, Gregg is definitely not one of my favorites anymore!

I'm still severely impressed with the duality of Tom/Ian. I'm not so secretly hoping that they will make it to the final two. Double Drat that Angie got voted out. Why not James who messed up just as much as Ibrahim (didn't he lose to Coby 2x's??)

I just hope that Greg and Jenn's plan to get rid of Tom and Ian and anyone else that's with them fails. I don't like those two? When are people who go on "Survivor" going to realize that the public generally doesn't like to see two people romantically involved on this show! That's not why we watch it! Okay, rant's over! Here's another reminder that "Survivor" is on Wednesday night again this week! Whew! At least "Lost" is a repeat, or there would be a problem!

Arrrgggh! For those of you who watched last night's episode, y'all know that Ulong lost Immunity AGAIN! This sucks! I really wanted them to win Immunity, because Koror has won too much and as a group, I am getting sick of Koror. I still like certain individual members, such as Ian, Tom, and Coby, but as a group they annoy me. They just need to lose! But at least Ulong won the reward challenge. Congrats to Steph for always hitting her target! Steph rocks!
I am glad to finally see James go. At the reward challenge, he said he had shot guns before, but did he hit any of his targets? No! And he said that he knew a lot about knots and that Koror would never get his knots undone. And what happened? Koror breezed through his knots! Hmm, maybe if they had gotten rid of James last week instead of Angie, Ulong would still have 4 members!
As you can see, I was not very pleased by last night's episode. Anyone else care to share their thoughts?

Ulong is setting a new precedent for losing Challenges! The tribes simply have to merge next week, I'm guessing. Lest they get down to one nearly full tribe vs. a tribe of one!
I actually liked last night but only because I really couldn't look at James any more (or listen to his "wang dang doodle" vernacular). The reward challenge seemed like nothing special. Pringles and Mai Tais followed by a swim with the jellyfishes? Give me beef stew any day. One good thing about it, though: I watched James on "The Early Show" this morning and he was complaining that the telecast didn't show him intoxicated and dancing around in a thong. Yikes! Thank goodness they edited that part. He was far irritating enough sober!

"Wang dang doodle" - LMAO
James had to go, it's just a shame he didn't go instead of Angie, she is missed. I hope that Koror loses something, anything sometime soon as I imagine Ib, Steph and BJ must be getting tired of working so hard in all the challenges and then having to jockey to stay in the game....that team deserves a break.
I did like the Jellyfishing and the Maitais but Pringles? C'mon! Couldn't CBS secure a better product to nourish this team? I guess hamburgers wouldn't be as easy to print all those "fun" Survivor trivia questions on though, huh?

I found myself wondering the same thing. What do you think he wore on the plane ride to NYC? Maybe he came straight from the airport....

How about how he was saying that Jeff Probst is "smoking crack". Obviously this is a feeble attempt at humour but I don't think anyone, especially Jeff is laughing. I guess we just have to consider the source...

I agree, I'm really smitten with both BJ and Stef... I was so happy to see Ib go home, only because it meant that both BJ and Stef got to stay... She was right though, neither her nor BJ deserved to leave. I, too, am getting so tired of Koror winning... Next week will probably see the tribes merge, I just don't see how they can keep making unique tribe challenges when one tribe has only two members. I don't think there'll be one of those tribe shuffle's we've seen before where they all take different buffs and become two seperate tribes again because then it would be a tribe of 5 against a tribe of 5, but then again it might actually work. I'm hoping that if they do merge, the Koror folk don't just eliminate BJ and Stef right away, they are huge threats, more so than say Caryn or Katie, but to woop their butts so bad in the tribe competitions and then to just vote them out like that would suck.
Okay, is anybody else getting really annoyed with Jen and Greg... I swear everytime I see them I have to force my stomach to hold in its contents.... did you hear Jen's comments last night "I'm noticing that Greg sometimes pays more attention to the game than he does to me." Uh, hello?... this girl seems to have forgotten she's in a game to win a million dollars and thinks this is like, the dating game, South Pacific edition... Honey, I don't care who you are, I'd sure as heck be paying more attention to the game than to you if a million dollars was on the line! Ugh, get over yourself, Jen! :P;)
Well, that's my rant for this week.

I don't know even what to say about how the show went on Thursday night. I was so sad for Ulong (once again). I don't understand this "Brains against Brawn" thing they refer to. What's not 'brainy' about Ulong. That they've gotten anywhere so far has to require a good bit of that. Maybe not brains so much as spirit, though. There was no winning as a tribe of three has to vote one of each other off. I knew Ib would go but I'm sure that none of them liked doing it. They were like a family by then. Personally (and throw rocks at me at will ) I thought Steph should go. Only because she confused Bobby Jon so in that one challenge. "So we move this tile here and then over there and then down there...?" Heck, I was confused and I was just watching it and not underwater. And, much as I like him, BJ is not really the smartest card in the deck. Ib was a class act, though. And he took it as such. Any of the others would have as well, I think. They were hanging on by a thread together and that means that no one should have to go. But one had to. That's the game. Tom taking a machete to that shark gave me a laugh. It was a good job he did but he got all "Lord Of The Flies"-ish about it. But they all got fed. Funny thing, though, his feeding them will probably get him voted off pretty soon. Gregg is no Boston Rob. So all of that is forgettable to me with him and Jen. I don't even care about him enough to dislike him (as I did with Rob). At this point I'd say Steph has a good chance of winning the million this time. She knows just how to play it. Up for debate, of course.

{pelts rocks furiously at Gatsby } You insulted my two favourite players, Gats, shame on you! I do agree that Steph confused BJ in the challenge, but come on, what was he doing up there anyway? You're right he isn't the smartest card in the deck (but I still love him ) so he should have been in the water and Steph on the podium giving directions in the first place... in my opinion, the whole tribe dropped the ball at that moment when they chose BJ instead of Steph to direct... I thought that Tom/machete thing was hilarious as well, he was soo pleased with himself, he sounded like a little kid on christmas after opening up his presents and getting exactly what he wanted... it was so cute. I liked Ian's line too, about Tom one-uping him all the time... "I guess I'm gonna have to go out there and catch me a whale or something" hilarious!
