UK-The Wayward Wind-Frank Ifield US-Hey Paula-Paul and Paula What the heck is the Wayward Wind? And should I chalk this up to being ancient? I guess it is true, when I was born, the Dead Sea wasn't even sick yet. Man, I feel old.

I do not think they had charts when I was born. I won't say how old I am but here's a trivia question for you to solve. Me and Bernard Schwartz were born on the same day in the same city. I did not become a movie star but he did. Who is he and what day/year/city were we born?

My hit songs the day I was born are "Up Where We Belong" by Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes in the US and in the UK it was "I Don't Wanna Dance" by Eddie Grant.

Oh, by-the-by, I couldn't find info specifically for June 3, but according to answers.com, "Yes, Sir, That's My Baby!", "Sweet Georgia Brown", and "Five Feet Two, Eyes of Blue" were the cat's pajamas that year! http://www.answers.com/topic/1925#music

I had "the Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore" by the Walker Brothers in the UK and "the Ballad of the Green Berets" in the US. I like the first one - but the other song ... a horrible heroic song. But what really makes me feel old when I hear songs of my record collection played in the Oldie shows. And I am working with someone who is younger than some of these records. That's really sad!

Oooops I shouldn't have looked, they didn't start the charts till I was nearly 18 months old. At least this means I have enjoyed every Xmas No.1
