After a long time and many adventures I'm back on line and in town and still find Quizzyland the best site on the net. Woo Crosswords!!! Real spelling and sentences with subjects, verbs and objects all at the same time.
I'm wondering who's still here...Bruyere? Bloomsby? How is that really nice woman from London who had the baby? Sue of the Isles, cool Ren from HK, and Leau who almost drowned in Prague? All the Aussies? Hello to everyone from Dobrov!

Dobrov!! How great to see you! Welcome back! What's been happening?? You were much missed. Al the above are still staggering around , especially the poor old bat from 'the Isles."
Ahoj!!!

Welcome back Dobrov, lovely to see you again. Ignore the old bat from Hong Kong, the Chinese New Year fireworks affected her.

Well this is really nice. Hi, Tabby Tom! Actually, I thought it would be, uh, a little politer if I returned with a quiz, so it's online now. Hello Leau (hee hee), yeah, I'm back for the duration, I think, or until my very lovely and elegant new laptop fries. Hey Sue and Ren! Glad to see you two are still so darn polite about each other:)

Since you asked, I have a much better job this year with a bit more money and lots of what administrators like to call 'new challenges'. But it really isn't bad at all and I'm quite liking it now. Most of all, I've got more time to myself. I'm a happy Dobrov all in all. I wish you all the same!

Hello Dobrov! I'm new since you left, I think, but have played many of your quizzes and loved them.

Hello Dobrov,

I'm glad to see you back. I'm still here at FT, but I've moved back to the States since we last met. I've also gone back to get my teaching credential thanks to...well, I won't get into politics. Needless to say, California has stringent requirements and won't take anything as old as my qualifications into account. So I'm back at my old school where the last time I attended most of my classmates weren't yet born.

Hope you're well and having lots of adventures. We're glad to see you back.

Heather

Thanks, Agony. I like YOU already! Great name. Hi, Bruyere. I am really really glad you're doing an upgrade, because, well, politics. I understand a little about that myself, unfortunately. How do you like being back in California? Are you suffering from reverse culture shock at all, or are you happy about the move? Do you like being a schoolgirl again, or is it horrible? So many questions, so little time. I am really happy to hear from you.

I've been reading through the forums and I see that Gunslinger died. He was a fine, tough man and I'm really sorry about this.

Hi Silvermoonsong. I'm sorry, I didn't know you were Gunslinger's daughter, but I know now. I'm really glad to meet you and really glad you're carrying on the tradition. That's great.

Hi Dakota! I thought your orphan diary was pretty cute. I'm a sucker for kittens.

Thank you Dobrov! Actually, I'm awaiting the birth of another litter of kittens, due around March 9th. The mama cat is in my house (finally)!

Hello Dobrov
I don't believe we've met before, but welcome back anyway.
We are practically neighbours, because I grew up in a village in Southern Germany, about 2 hours drive from the Czech border.
I have to admit, however, that I've never been to the Czech Republic, but I hope I'll be able to change that some day.

BLOOMSBY! Well, hello! How are you? And Dakota, how many cats is that going to be? Stupid question. I suppose you'll have to wait and see Can't be too many, I guess.

Nice to meet you, Chris. The Czech Republic is a pretty nice place, but then so is Germany. Thanks for writing.

Why is it that every kid who read Mad magazine remembers that line long after everything they learned in school the same year evaporated from their brain long ago? It's immortal!
