Hi, I'm kinda new, so you probably won't know my screen name well, at least not from here. My name Nemesis was given to me way back in high school. I love Greek Mythology. So I took my name from the Greek Goddess Nemesis, Goddess of retribution. I think on all the boards I've been on my name has either been Nemmie or Nemesis (as well as many others). Nemmie is just short for Nemesis. It's been my name for so long people now call me Nemmie lol

Bee is one of my nicknames, but it was taken when I joined so I added an extra 'e'. Not as interesting as everyone elses.

My favourite team is Manchester United and they won the treble in the 1998/1999 season.

Really interesting - if only I'd finished by BA, I'm sure there's a post-grad thesis in how/why people choose their screen names.

Mine's another boring one, an abbreviation of my name - Ingrid. (I added the _ here because it didn't seem to like a 3 character name.)I use it or variations thereof everywhere, easier to keep track. I use the same password too, which is....no, I ain't THAT stoopid!!!

I've always liked Esme from A Series of Unfortunate Events, and she's always referring to "in" things sooo......you get "EsmeIsIn"

features2004: My cousin created an account at hotmail with this name. I was impressed and became jealous that this nick should be mine. Then, I came across funtrivia and saw that there is no features2004 so I created and no furtherhistories behind.

Way back in the early days of the internet, when I was mostly using local BBS's and telneting into the University's Unix shell, there were things called MUD's and MUSH's. The modern version of these might be Everquest and the like. They were online role playing games. But back then, everything was text-based. (Actually, if you knew your ASCII, you could do rudimentary graphics...) Anyway, along with the StarWars MUSH and the Forgotten Realms-based MUD called Soujourn, I was also a member of a Middle-Earth MUD called Elendil. My character was a red-headed elf. So I flipped open my Quenya-English dictionary from the back of the Silmarillion and chose the words Loth, which means flower, and -ruin which means red flame. It's not a name Tolkien ever used, but it IS Quenya. Geesh, I was such a geek back then. But I was a girl geek, and that made it better.

Anyway, I'm the only one of me. There aren't any "Lothruin76" or "Lothruin2005" out there. If you Google it, you'll find things I've written, references to me or misspelled words. It fits me, and I've used it for everything I've ever done online. I even have the domain name of Lothruin.com. I like being the only me around, and it hasn't ever failed me.

Mine is incredibly boring. I'm Flynn, so my username is Flynn. Whoo. On the Funtrivia quiz site, it's Flynn_17, as 17 is my lucky number and my birthday. On most of the other sites I use, I'm known as Whyatoo, simply because nobody else ever uses it.

There's a much more interesting story behind that... we were doing about the Whiachi tribe in Geography at one point, and it was how a friend had written down. And it always stuck with me. Not sure why I didn't register with it here.

Got my name from the BBC TV show Ballykissangel. (Nothing too imaginative about that!)

I've always enjoyed the program and I even got the opportunity to visit Avoca, Ireland where it was filmed. --What a gorgeous place.

My full name is Malcolm Bruce Christie.
When I was learning to speak (some say I still am), I was asked my name. I answered "Muga Boo Titty". The Mugaboo part stuck as a family nickname ever since.

Mine's not too imaginitive. I try to have the same screen name on every forum I go to (it cuts down on the confusion for me). Basically, I have 4 dogs (Kallie, Sherwen, Tyrone, and Jacques) at the moment, and we're sort of a "pack" now.
