Hi there DSR! Got something to say here. This is a really great site full of really great people. I liked this site years ago and I still like this site. It's a nice place to exchange news and views.

So do me a favour, ok? Please back off. This is a message from the heart. What you have written here is totally off base. Stop it. Ok? when this lady (and I mean LADY) writes that she hopes for Clinton's recovery, that doesn't make her a Liberal Wuss. That makes her a caring person. She's a human being thinking about another human being. One day you might need one of these people, so please treat them with respect and don't label them, on-site or off.

Ok, so I'm way out of line. Please, do what you want here. I'm not a moderator and I've been away for a while, so I'm in no position to make any big value judgements. On the other hand I can disappear when I want and I can say what I want to say. What I want to say is this. On such a site which is so strict on rules of written style (which I heartily agree with) I am surprised that your brand of aggro is tolerated.

That I wish Clinton nothing but pain and suffering is not something that I would state normally in a post and I was being gentle with my reply above considering Clintons record. I have no idea which of the ladies you are refering to in your post btw, Sue or Dakota? Expressing my distaste of the man hardly means that I`m calling anyone a "liberal wuss".
My post in the Dresden thread was in way whatsoever a clever riposte, you either give me too much credit or are once again reading things in a strange manner. The only point I had to make in that thread was to give people reading it a comment from the man that was in charge of the bombing. Hardly clever,merely presenting the mans opinion of the event, with no indication that it was my point of view.

Clinton's past escapades are a matter of public record and people are bound to have opinions about them. As a small town news writer, I knew Bill Clinton years ago, and have spoken to him or been in the same room on different occasions - overhearing several casual conversations. I'm afraid the rep is well deserved, folks!
I am sure several of us on this site are not big Clinton fans - but we are talking about the life of a human being, here. No sane person wishes him ill - I hope he recovers fully. And I do appreciate the project he has embarked upon with George Bush One [ another one I'm not fond of ] They have both put aside their partisan behavior for just a little while to aide tidal wave victims. Now that's commendable.
Remember - telling pretty hospital interns to 'watch out' is NOT the same thing as saying " drop dead!'
