I am writing a crossword about Bon Jovi at the moment. It will mainly ask for song titles.

I noticed in the other crosswords that if the clue is a song title (or part of it), no quotation marks were used. But what if the clue is a line from the song and the answer is the title? Do I need quotation marks for the lyrics?

The reason I ask is, that for a quiz I would have used quotation marks for song titles, album titles and lyrics, but after playing the other music crosswords I wasn't sure whether the same rule is appropriate for crosswords.

I didn't know which editor I should contact, that's why I posted it here.

Take a look at agony's Musical Matters crossword. That is what I would expect if I were editing your crossword. Song titles or lyrics are in quotes, etc.

Okay, thanks for your help.
I just wanted to ask before I submit it, to save the editor a correction note.
