I couldn’t find another post on this so here goes.
I have a quiz on Freemasonry and as I haven’t looked at it for a while, I thought I’d check it out. When I searched for it from the Homepage, nothing showed up. I went to my quizzes, and it is still online. My question is, Why doesn’t it show up on the search, or is it just me?

I know that somtimes this happens to non-gold members becuase of the difference in the site updating. I have a related question. I started a quiz on Kelly Clarkson lyrics. Before I created the quiz I searched Kelly Clarkson to play any quizzes already on the site and repeat questions. The search turned up nothing. I created my quiz. When I went to place it in the right sub-catagory, imagine my surprise to see an entire catagory devoted to Kelly Clarkson. I clicked on it and found several quizzes, some of them older, on Kelly Clarkson. One quiz in particular would have almost been a repeat of the quiz I was going to make. I don't understand why the quizzes didn't turn up in my search. They weren't knew enough for it to be a difference in gold/ non-gold member benefits. What happened?

I've just done a quick test, and the search seems to be finding subcategories, but not individual quizzes.

Typing 'Clarkson' finds the Kelly Clarkson subcategory, but not the quizzes within it. 'Kelly Clarkson' turns up nothing. I tested several of my own quiz titles, and came up with similar results.

I have gold member status, so it isn't anything to do with gold/non-gold differences.

If you go to AFT (the "answers" link at the top of Quizzyland), there's a search box at the top too. That one does search all existing questions on the site.

Looks great, now Terry, but believe me, that wasn't what was showing up the other day!

awkins, having played your Freemasonry quiz I went to look at it yesterday and it didn't come up under "mason" "masonry" or even "freemason" only if I typed in "freemasonry" completely. I guess the search engine can only find exact matches not partial words or such.
