Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Our dear Sue has had a mild stroke and will be in hospital for a while. I phoned her in there and she sounds OK, but must rest and get treatment for her heart (as well as the kidney stones from before) She is hoping the Jersey Hospital can sort her out and she will not have to go to England. Sadly her Mum died on Sunday (the stroke happened on Saturday ) . I know you will all want to wish her well. A few cheery messages in here would be a good start! Thanks all. XX

I must add that Sue has no access to a PC as yet, but I know she will enjoy messages when she does.

I'm sorry to hear about all that. I'm not all that good at choosing nice words but I'm sure Sue will know that if I was, I'd be saying them now. Get well soon Sue.

Gosh! I adore Sue so! What a ghastly series of events for her. She's said it to me more than once and now I can only say it back: "If only I could be there for you, Sue!" If a hand could only reach across the distance and hold yours. But it sounds like many of us here are reaching to do that. Dark days at the moment but all our good wishes will ultimately matter. God bless you and yours, Sue!

Oh Sue Please get well soon. I miss you and your Hi Petal on the weekends and teasing you about your Spam sarnies. I am sending you good thoughts and love. If I know you, and I do , you will be up and around soon and pinching the derrières of those cute docs in there. With all the good wishes that are being sent to you, you will be back here in no time. Chuck sends his best wishes too. I am also sending you huge hugs. PF xxxx
