Everyone here has said it so well for me, too. You have become part of our lives, and a better part, I might add.
My condolences for your mother's passing on. May her memory and spirit always comfort you.

Sue, I feel out of place among all these people that know you so well, nevertheless, I am deeply sorry about the loss of your mum and although I'm new here and don't know you very well, I do hope you get well soon so that I can know you better in the many years to come.

Sue, I was very sorry to hear about your mother and I also hope you will recover quickly.
I am the same as gemini, I don't know you as well as some of the others do, but I do know that you are a truly remarkable person, and I miss having you around at FT.
Just remember that FT members all over the world are sending you their best wishes and prayers.
A big hug from Chris.

Sue, I can understand why you wouldn't want to go to England, maybe you can come to Oz to recuperate
Remember to celebrate your mum's life, not mourn her death! Get well and take care of yourself.

Dear Sue,

Like Gemini, I hardly feel I know you well enough for my sympathies to be worth much, but you have them none-the-less.

It just hasn't been the same with you gone.

Gatsby is posting chain games all over the place. Without your watchful eye, he's run amok.

Meanwhile, Roos and Satguru are on about something in the Current Events forum. Ladymacb can barely keep them under control.

And you should hear the things Ren has been saying about you behind your back!

Ah well, I'm sure you'll be back to get everyone back in hand before long.

We miss you dearly,
-Lothruin

Sue, please accept my condolences on the loss of your mother, I know how very difficult that is.
I hope that you feel better soon; take good care of yourself and come rejoin us as soon as you're ready.
If well wishes and good vibes are curative, you'll be back up and running around in no time, you've got tons of those here!

I just phoned her again and she sounds a million times better than yesterday,I think, partly because yesterday I woke her up at 6 am and I must have sounded pretty panicky too. Her speech is much better even after one day. She sends piles of love to everyone. I told her all your wishes (well not ALL, but I told her there were lots of you all sending messages!) . Some of those vibes must be getting through! She is being good. She is in a lovely room looking over the sea and the castle. The chef comes to see if he can tempt her with fish and lobster sauce? She hasn't felt like eating, so feels the losing weight side is a bit of a bonus! She has action in her left hand and is busy exercising with her kilo sized dumbell! So all is on the mend. It will be a long long course of treatment, but she hopes she will not be in there for so very long. She thanks everyone for their lovely messages and for caring.

Oh dear Sue, I don't know you well, but the type of dedicated, caring person you are shows in everything you do, as well as in the number of people who are sending good thoughts your way.
Please add my thoughts to the rest, and take very good care of yourself. Your Fun Trivia home will be waiting for you whenever you're ready to come back to the fold.

Sue,

Even though we don't really know each other except through the forums here, I really wish you a speedy recovery, and my sincerest condolences about your mother. I hope you get well soon, but take your time. We don't want you to be up too quick as to make things worse. Get better all the way, and then come back. Get well soon! You've got a big family here that misses you terribly.

Sue, best wishes from another who doesn't know you well, but I want you to know that prayers for you will be coming from here in PA. Seems like in the forum, everyone lives just down the street! Get better real fast!

Sue is going to be swamped with cards and (I hear) flowers) which is lovely.
Purplefan has kindly offered to field some of the PM requests for Sue's address while I am at work/asleep. So Hong Kong time is similar to OZ. Maybe you can PM her between say 6 am and 6pm Ozzie time. And me the rest. Thanks.
You may be asking why I am not posting her name and address. Í haven't asked her if I may, is the answer...XX
