She had just spoken to the doctor and she will be in the hospital for another month and off work from 3 to 6 months if she goes back. She sounded fairly cheerfull and has promised to do as she was told. She also said the Doctor was dishy so I know she is on the mend. Hope to talk to her again soon. I just wanted to post quickly to thank you all for your messages, phonecalls, cards etc - I know mum's really chuffed about them and your thoughts mean a lot to her - she's threatening to get a wall map and pin flags everywhere she's heard from someone! She's doing well and her stroke recovery is really good. However, this message is also to ask anyone who has her number NOT to call her on Tuesday - her mum's funeral will be on Tuesday and she doesn't want to be disturbed. She's loving receiving your calls, but wants to be alone on Tuesday. Thanks again.
