I had not realized that Sue had been Ill. I'm glad that she is getting back to health and will be returning home soon. Please pass along my condolences for the passing of her mother. April has not been a Kind month it appears. Best wishes and a speedy recover to you, Sue!

I think you had best warn your Mom that her phone will be ringing off the hook when she is back in Jersey.
I wonder if the Chef has Spam on the menu! That would make her day.
Oh I am so relieved that she didn't have to have the surgery and that she is only having to do the oral antibiotics.
I know alot of people in here and other places will be so happy to hear this good news.

It's been a bit of a bad day on other health fronts I know and that really made up for it.

Dear Sue, I am not on this site all that often any more. I was very upset to see what a rough time you have been through. Please accept my belated condolences on the loss of your Mom. I am glad to hear you are doing better, it sounds like you have had a bumpy ride. I had a bacon bunty the other morning and it made me think of you and your kind offer to send me brown sauce, until I found it on the shelf of my local super market. Take care of yourself.

I'm so glad to hear Sue is doing so much better. Going from needing surgery to not needing it is a relief for everyone. It'll be nice to have Sue back up and around. I am praying for a speedy recovery for her! Party time when she gets back! (Well, we can hope to have a nice online party! How does have one have a party online when everyone's in a different time zone?? Hmmmm!) Ren'll think of something!

Hi all,

Mum's now back in Jersey on Sorel Ward. Her number is 00 44 1534 622684 but we're not sure how long she'll be in hospital - hopefully not long. She'll need surgery at some stage but there's no indication as to whether it will be weeks or years at this stage.

I swear, I always have the best intentions, then I procrastinate and time just flies by. Sue, I've been meaning to send a get-well/condolence card but I've put it off for days and days. I'm sorry. I just wanted to say that I'm glad you're doing well, and I hope you continue to get better so that we can have you back here. Do what the doctors say and get plenty of rest and you'll be here before you know it.
