Mothergoose, lol, that does seem silly. I hope the pattern works out well. I'm working another one, only following my own pattern this time. So I'll warn you right now, my parents and my boss and her son all have some little Motorola flip phone. Pretty standard, I think. They all agree that phones with cameras are a little longer, but their phones were obviously a little shorter than I imagined your phone, given the dimensions, would be. However, the sock as I made it fitted with the ribbed cuff just over the top of the phone. So, you might want, after the work measures about 3", to compare it to the phone and see whether you want to make it a bit longer or just start the toe right then.

And thanks to both of you for the compliments on my sweater.

I was very much afraid I would have to look in my daughter's room to find her mobile phone - believe me, it's not a pretty sight. Beats me how she can find anything in that pig-sty she calls her room. But as luck would have it, she left her phone on the dining room table this morning.

My room is not a pigsty. It is moderatly messy. In case you couldn't tell I'm mothergoose's daughter.

Just out of curiosity, then, did the sock get made, and did the pattern work out?

Sorry for taking forever to post but I dont get to come on here alot and it took me ages to find this thread. To my knowledge it didn't get made but that's not to say it hasn't. I mean my birthday and Christmas are coming so you never know.
