This movie just hit VHS/DVD shelves.

How to describe it? Imagine every philosophy class you've ever taken; every science class, and higher math classes; every good discussion you've ever had about the nature of humans, the universe, and the neverending question "Why are we here?".

Now take all that, and put it into a 2 hour movie that is incredibly *interesting*. Who knew Quantam Physics was so fascinating? Myself and my three children- ages 10 through 16- were enthralled.

I particularly was fascinated by the images of Mr. Masuru Emoto, who took photos of water's crystaline structure after exposing it to an emotion. You've got to check this out, it's too cool.

Specifically, I want this thread to be a discussion of the *contents* of the movie, such as "Why are we here", and "What does 'here' mean?", which is why I posted in this forum, instead of movies.

So, anyone else out there interested in Emoto's work? Or String theory? M theory? Parallel universes? Post away

SH

Only just found this, and the film has only just hit the UK this week so I'm not yet able to comment on anything in it. But having seen the ads it does appear to promote the quite possibly true view that we do actually make our own reality. Consciously or subconsciously either way it's actually brought into existence by shining the light of our own awareness at it. Otherwise it may not exist in our dimension or universe.

Solid matter, time and space are therefore relegated to energy patterns, directed and created by consciousness, potentially both allowing and explaining every manipulation of matter and time seen in every sci-fi film and more. Another link to an author I've read who gave me this explanation more or less as I presented it is Hazel Courteney , who looked for answers after an experience of her own where she claims both to have partially physically disappeared and also materialised an object. Personally I'd be far more inclined to believe it if the few people in the world who claim to do these things already came out to the media and showed everyone. Apart from Uri Geller, while they hide in obscure corners of the world and word only gets out via tourists and explorers it's going to be very difficult to test these theories as they are meant to apply in the real world.
