I now have two tournaments running which are linked to each other using the 'back' link provided.
For most members, logging out of one to play in the other is not a problem, but for two members it has proved unsuccessful. One ended up having to re-register and for the other, nothing. That member has given up. The member who gave up can log into one of the games, but not the other.
They both have cookies enabled and have followed the FAQ which is as follows...
I log in but it does not remember who I am!
This is a common problem that can usually be traced to the use of cookies in your web browser. The general symptom is that you log in successfully but the system continues to keep requesting that you log in.

Try the following steps:

1. Make sure that cookies are enabled in your web browser. If you're not sure how to do this, click here for help.

2. Still not working? Try clearing your browser's cookies. Instructions here

3. Still not working? Click here as a last resort and follow the instructions. This will attempt to force log you out of FunTrivia and start you off from scratch.

If it's still not working, go fix yourself a stiff drink.

Any more tips?

With the private tournaments, you have to log out and log in again for every tournament you play. You also have to create a new 'account' for each one. You can use the same username each time, though. When you go to the main page of a tourney, even if it says you are logged in, you may not be - you are still logged in to whichever tourney you played last.

The easiest thing to do is to ALWAYS log out and back in again, for each one that you play, every time you play.

That works for most of us, just log-out then in. We haven't had to create a new account.

Just two members are unable to do this.
One of them DID have to register again. The other member is about to try that too.

Right, it worked. Looks like some members will have to click on 'create a new account' for it to work.
They both used the same nickname and password and it let them in.

I'm surprised that any of you have been able to play without creating separate accounts for each one. The system seems to treat each tourney as a mini-website. As long as it works, though, that's the main thing, eh?

Yes, it sounds odd that the majority of us can just go from one to the other apart from a couple.
