I had just got myself a 3 in 1 DVD of the Matrix trilogy.

Unfortunately, the DVD refuses to play in Liteon Drive though it plays in DVD players as such. In LG Drives, the root menu is shown and then it goes very slow.:(

It's dual layer dvd and region free.


Other DVDs including 5 in 1 are working well

Could someone help me see the Matrix?

I had this problem with a Monty Python DVD. Selecting various areas of the menu were sluggish or just plain wouldn't work. I had Windows Media Player (version 10 I think) as the default player at the time. The DVD player drive came with WinDVD 4. I installed and tried the DVD with this and the problems went away, all options and menus worked properly.

So, in my case, it wasn't a DVD or DVD player problem. It was the software used to run it. Could it be the same for yourself? I can't think why one DVD would play and another not. Maybe it's to do with menu structures or something.
