I'm not sure if this is the proper place to suggest/request a new subcateogry.....but here goes.

In "Literature", "Contemporary Literature and Fiction", quite a few modern authors are listed as sub-categories. Would it be possible to add Clive Cussler to the list? He has written many books, and I'm working on the first in a series of four quizzes on one of his newest.

If there is no Cussler sub-category, what category should I list this quiz in?

Sub-categories are usually created when there are a few quizzes on that topic. At this stage, the appropriate place would be 'Authors A-C'.

Yep, that's right. Once we have a few more Cussler quizzes (there is one already online) we will create a category. The place to put your quiz is "C" which is a subcategory of Authors A - C.

But why there is category "Periodic table" in Sci/Tech which has only one quiz?

Because sometimes quizzes are taken offline. There were probably more quizzes about the Periodic Table when the subcat was created, but they're not online anymore.

I am looking in this category for more than 2 months but only 1 quiz. I think that there were no quizzes.

Most of the quizzes on the Periodic Table were extremely poor, and have been taken offline over the years. It's also a closed category (due to extremely poor and boring quizzes being submitted to it,) which is why you don't se any quizzes going into it.
