Since I have no friends or family who are CSI fans I must bring my fandom here to you fine people.

The fifth season finale of CSI("Grave Danger") has to be the best. episode. ever! Really quick comments on the ep:

LOVED:
- Hodges being adorkable over his "Dukes of Hazzard" board game. (And I wouldn't mind having the "full Greg Sanders experience" but whatever.)

- Nick saying:"Boy, better flip a coin. I'll hurt you." Don't know, just liked the delivery, I guess.

- Catherine telling the delivery guy to shut up.

- the whole autopsy scene

BROKE MY HEART:

- any part where Nick cried *sob*

- when Nick starting singing at the top of his lungs because he thought people were coming. His voice was cracking and it was just awful.

- the end where Grissom was trying to calm Nick down, and he called him Pancho. They put their hands on the glass together!

- when they opened the "coffin" and Nick was crying and grabbing at Gris and Warrick. He even says "Warrick" but he's sobbing so it's hard to notice. But when I did: *SSSSSOOOOOOBBBB*

Next season, they better deal with all the drama and not just pretend it never happened.

Thoughts?

Edited to say: I totally didn't mean to post twice. *SORRY*

Adorkable? I totally agree and I'm fully going to start using that word

Amen, Sister!

I totaly agree that that had to be one of the best episodes ever. Like you, I'm the only CSI fan in my circle of family and friends so I just had to keep all my excitement over this episode to myself .

I think Quentin Tarantino did an awesome job directing this episode, no? Wasn't it almost like a movie?

I liked Catherine this episode, usually she comes off kinda snobbish, bossy and egotistical to me, but this episode she really came through for Nicky and showed she cared.

Poor Grissom, he seemed so helpless in this episode. I don't know what it was that Nick said while in the coffin when Grissom was reading his lips, but when Grissom said "You never did, Nicky." I wanted to know what it was the Nick had said... I think I should brush up on my lip reading skills and rewatch the scene .

I liked the end too, when Grissom was standing next to Eckley as Nick was being taken away and Grissom said "I want my guys back". Awwww

And I had no idea Warrick had a girl (I thought he had a thing for Catherine, seeing as they almost kissed at the beginning of the season)... that whole telling the "almost-got-my-butt-kicked-in-the-parking-lot" story to Nick in the locker room was so cute!

I'm pretty sure Nick says, "I never meant to disappoint you." *sigh*
Oh, Grissom, give the boy a hug once in a while.

I also meant to mention when Warrick was whispering to Nick,"Stay still. Stay still." And Sara's trying-not-to-cry face when she first sees Nicky in the coffin? OK, I'm gonna start crying again. Don't look at me.

ANYway, this episode was like a movie. A totally awesome movie!! The best part is that you can tell QT is fan with all the continuity and characterization. (SP?)

I could've sworn I read something where the writers were going to take the Warrick/Catherine thing somewhere but they haven't yet.
