Well this round and the next round is going to be slightly different for one simple reason – The Trivia Rounds started one year ago today! So I got together with Kuu (who began the rounds) and we decided to choose a question for each month of the quiz (she is going to do six questions tomorrow too). So…for two days only, there are Six questions to answer!

Quote:

Q1 – Originally posted by Kuu - One of the beings/creatures that travel the Yellow Brick Road to Oz (in the first Oz book)
Q2 - Originally posted by SpanishLiz – A member of the cast of 'EastEnders' who appeared in Episode 1 (first aired in the UK on 19th Feb 1985)
Q3 – Originally posted by Leau - A program included in MS Office.
Q4 – Originally posted by Julia – A book by Charles Dickens which includes a person's name in the title.
Q5 – Originally posted by Kevinatilusa – One of the original colors in a box of Crayola Crayons
Q6 – Originally posted by Helen - One of the rabbits in "Watership Down" by Richard Adams

Good Luck everybody!

Round 22 questions.

Like Jane Marple said yesterday - to celebrate Trivia Rounds' first birthday have selected one question each month from December to May.

I would like to thank Jane for taking over from me as quizmistress when I was no longer able to do it because of complications in real life.

Question 1 - originally asked by ElfTwinkle in December - In English we say 'Merry Christmas', how do you say Merry Christmas in any language? Please state which language you have used.

Question 2 - originally asked by Exit10 in January - Name a type of dwelling

Question 3 - originally asked by ozzz2002 in February - An odd number less than 200, that is part of the Fibonacci series

Question 4 - Originally asked by littlewoman2 in March - Name a celebrity who appeared on the cover of LIFE magazine in 1953

Question 5 - originally asked by Santana2002 in April- A stitch used in Boondoggle/Scoubidou-making

Question 6 - originally asked by ChrisSchu - Give a 2-letter word beginning with A

Apologiies to anyone that didn't have one of their questions re-asked but we were linited to just 12 questions.

ROUND 24 - Friday

Quote:

1. Tell me something you have eaten that you would not, voluntarily, eat ever again. (yuck )

2. Tell me the name of the last song you couldn't get out of your head.

3. Name one of the "Original 6" NHL hockey teams.

4. Give me an episode title of the 1994 Claire Danes show, "My So-Called Life". (Sadly, it lasted only one season, but there's lots of information out there on it.)

5. QANTAS is an Australian airline you may (or may not) have heard of. QANTAS is actually an acronym of six words. Give me one of the words that makes up that acronym.

Okey dokey guys, good luck and have fun. If you hit a snag or two, you know where to reach me. I'll close this round sometime Sunday.

I wonder would the Australian contingency here kick me out of the game if I dared answer "Vegemite" to Q1?

You obviously did not have the etiquette of, nor the 'how to' of eating Vegemite explained to you before you dove in headlong . . . it is exceptionally good for you and should be savoured, not squandered
(said with tongue firmly in cheek )

'We're happy little Vegemites as bright as bright can be, we all enjoy our Vegemite for breakfast, lunch and tea . . .'

It was anti British remarks like that that would get people put onto convict ships in the first place...
