Copago Moderator Registered: Tue May 15 2001 Posts: 14384 Loc: Australia	I've just been watching "Duel" (remember that old movie with the truck chasing the car?) and was wondering why there were about 6 number plates on the truck ... would a truck be allowed to be registeresd in more than one state in the US?

And they each have a port of entry for trucks to be weighed and the driver's cargo manifest examined. The driver's log book which has entries for hours on the road is also looked at. They also collect road fees at the port of entry. _________________________ Some days it just doesn't seem worth trying to chew through the restraints.
