I normally have the television on even if I am not watching it, I guess having noise in the house can be company of sorts. Anyway, a programme has just finished called 'You've Been Framed', those in the UK will be familiar with it but I am sure other countries hve their own versions, programmes where members of the public send in video clips. You know what I mean?
Now some of the clips are very amusing, particularly those involving animals and even some of those with people. What I don't understand is that the majority of clips involve people getting hurt, some of the accidents are potentially very dangerous - so why are they thought to be funny? Is there something amusing about a baby being knocked over by an adult tripping over it? About a toddler falling into a pond? About a person walking into a window? A person having an accident on a cycle?
I must be missing something.
