Well, after checking out the "HI!!!" thread from moosey, I'm not expecting this to be an overly extended thread as I don't necessarily have a penchant for Tim Curry (Currey or Currie for that matter), though I don't mind an occassional mild curry with fried rice!

Came across this site about two weeks ago while doing a web search on trivia sites for a friend. Now both my wife and I are hooked! There should be some health requirement stating the addictiveness of such a site... "Medical authorities warn that this site may pose unusual growth to the intellectual stimuli."

Have been enjoying wandering through the corridors of the site... taking a quiz or two here, pitting myself against some of the trivia masters in the tournaments there! Man, there are some pretty quick trivia buffs here! Scores of 10 under 30 seconds... that's awesome hand/mind coordination!

Anyway, I thought I'd drop a quick "hi" from the land Down-under.

Well, thank goodness someone finally clarified what "Oz" is! I've been lost about that for years . Seriously, though, 'tis great to have another Aussie among the mix! Welcome, basil!

Bwahahahaha! Sssshhh! Don't tell anyone. Let them keep thinking that we are a laid back, non-intrusive mob!

We'll have this site refering to 'color' as 'colour' and 'grills' as 'barbies' yet!

Sheesh yet another one! Welcome Basil, and to Mrs Basil.

As for the curry, just stick to the ones served on a plate and we will get on just fine!

LOL! Yep, far easier to swallow!

My lovely wife hasn't found it to the forums yet. Knowing her, however, it won't be long before she'll stick her head in to say hello!

Yes Basil, you've followed many great people on the same journey, I did exactly the same search on 'trivia' 5 years ago and I love it here even more now.
And glad to see you've got an interest in the spiritual, that was a very interesting reply to my post
