I've walked out of two. Howard the Duck, back in the 80s, and Dragonslayer, same time period. I was less patient then, I guess.

Summer of Sam. Absolutely atrocious. I think I watched the first half hour and then left.

I don't think I would ever walk out of a Movie unless I literally couldn't bear it.
I've seen Movies that haven't been brilliant but I don't remember ever seeing a movie I wanted to walk out of or couldn't happily sit through.
But then I'm not very fussy!

No I usually only goto see movies I really have an interest in watching. I've rented a lot of movies that I've turned off 10-30 minutes into to never see again though.

I've walked out of 2 movie theaters in my whole life. The first was during the movie "Angel" and the second was the movie "Casino". And will never watch them. To much gore for me.

Just looked through this whole thread - one movie I liked quite a lot, and one I thought was interesting, have caused others to walk out. All a matter of taste, I guess.

I've never walked out, though I have driven out of dusk to dawn drive-ins when it gets to the third or fourth movie. Fell asleep to "Last Tango in Paris".

Recently, however, I watched "Reign of Fire" and then couldn't stand it any longer. This is extremely unusual for me because (apart from my habit to endure the worst movies till the end) I absolutely admire Christian Bale, I like Gerry Butler, and normally I enjoy movies that have some well-animated creatures in it (dragons, dinosaurs, etc.). But this one... no! (And I can't stand Matthew McConaughey [sp?], so that might have been a factor, too)....

Oh I know! I thought I'd at least enjoy the movie somewhat, but my god! It was just so boring and it gave me a headache. I love Bale too, and movies with dragons and such, but for some reason I just couldn't stand it.

In another thread, I mentioned that I had walked out on Braveheart with Mel Gibson. It was a combination of too much blood and gore and the fact that I couldn't understand a word of what was being said. I think it was a combination of the accent (I really had a hard time there ) and the acoustics in the very old theatre. My college roommate and I left during the middle of The Eyes of Laura Mars with Faye Dunaway at a drive-in because it scared the bejesus out of us. We returned the next week with my boyfriend and made him sit in the middle with his arms around both of us. Now I have both movies on DVD.

I walked out on "Deliverance" after seeing the rape scene. I was an innocent sixteen-year-old and the cruelty and violence of that scene really traumatized me. My boyfriend thought my reaction to it was exaggerated so of course he spent the next couple of years teasing me mercilessly about it, and each time renewing my horror, but to this day I still haven't finished watching that movie.

Fat Albert was at the end of a Four Movie, movie marathon that I went to see with a friend. After sitting there all night trying to stay awake, the 'hey, hey heys' and corny concept of a cartoon brought to life was just too hard to handle for the 4 am time slot.

I've only walked out on one movie. The mirror crack'd, taken from an Agatha Christie novel. I was 16 or 17 at the time, babysitting a 9 year old, and it bored the heck out of both of us. We went and played arcade games instead.

Once. Anacondas 2. I wasn't really going to go see that movie in particular, but it was the only one I was vaguely interested in. Instead I went to Books a Million.

We walked out of (well, drove out--it was a drive-in)"Spaced Invaders". It was a Science fiction 'comedy' and I use the word loosely there.

It was showing with "Arachnophobia". Now that one's pretty good. "Well yes, a spider web would reveal an arachnid presence." Heehee.

Only once. IT was Sweet November with Charlize Theron and Keanu Reeves. To this day, I have no clue how it ended.

Totally understandable. Keanu Reeves isn't much of an actor.
