The secrets of helmets and boondoggles are ONLY revealed to attendees... Blimey- sounds like a Mason's meeting!

I'm kinda embarrassed for knowing that, Gats... But I have to tell you all that I won't be able to make it this weekend. The major reason I don't make too many commitments to things like this is that the people who rely on me tend to have crises on a fairly regular basis; my mother had a fall this morning. She's okay (obviously, or I wouldn't be here!) Nothing broken but she's very bruised and sore, and she's still recovering from a cracked vertebra from another fall several weeks ago. The situation is further complicated because my father is barely mobile, legally blind, and has some level of dimentia - mum was only just coping with still having him at home before this... But I'm sure that somehow you'll all manage to have fun without me!
