What's 6'4", lives in Afghanistan or Pakistan, and is hookd up to a dialysis machine?

Duh!

I think we've known where Bin Laden is from 9/12/01 and don't want him captured. Probably for fear of a retaliation by his followers that would make 09/11/01 look like a fireworks display.

If we can find Saddam Hussain living in a hole and the majority of his cronies scattered all over the place, but can't seem to find an abnormally tall Arab hooked up to an artificial kidney machine living in a cave -- something is wrong.

CAIRO - Al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden is in poor health and is seeking medical attention, the London-based Arabic newspaper al-Hayat said on Wednesday, quoting a U.S. officer in Afghanistan.

"Osama bin Laden is trying to obtain medical attention," Colonel Don McGraw, director of operations at the Combined Forces Command in Kabul, told a group of British reporters, including one from al-Hayat, it said.

"He (McGraw) refused to say what the al-Qaida leader is suffering from or whether it is the same kidney disease which Pakistani officials said in the past he was suffering from," the newspaper added.

Al-Hayat said it was not clear how the U.S. military had obtained its information or where it thought bin Laden might be.

The Saudi-born militant is believed to have taken refuge somewhere on the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan after escaping from U.S. troops and their Afghan allies who toppled the Taliban government that had hosted him in 2001.

The United States holds al-Qaida responsible for many attacks, including the suicide hijack assaults on New York and Washington on Sept. 11, 2001.

Forgive me if I show a lack of compassion here.

If the man dies of natural causes 'at large' rather than by military action or in captivity it surely will cause less problems in the form of retaliation by fanatics. If he is captured presumably he will be given medical treatment and I am sure there are far more deserving cases than him.

Yes, and if he died during or after treatment, his terrorist thugs would then claim that he'd been murdered. Last year, during a visit to Jordan, a Jordanian friend described bin Laden as a 'rat living in a hole in Afghanistan'. We hear just today of another atrocity committed in Iraq by the vile thugs of al Queda. Over 100 Arab construction workers killed by a car bomb, and another 20 or so murdered in cold blood by al Queda terrorists disguised as Iraqi police. Arabs and Moslems are clearly at greater risk, and suffer more from al Queda terrorists than do westerners.

Why someone so singlemindedly focused on death, the death of us infidels, and the glorious death of his own followers, struggles so desperately to stay alive is a mystery to me. Is hypocrite not a word in the Terrorist Extremist dictionary?
Osama just go meet your maker already. Jeesh.

It just galls me no end. This "man" can't even be ill without power struggles. So he dies. Sorry, but GOOD, I say. Something is wrong with systems everywhere because he's had too much peculiar influence for way too long. I can't believe I am going to say this but I actually hope he does die. Sooner than later. Unfortunalely his legacy has had time to become a force, though. Bin Laden is likely the most important man in the world now. I find that sickening.
