Well, a good hearty "Yikes"! Are they trying to kill these people at the get go or what? Tough stuff, for sure. *Pay attention to this, guys* The mega-men failed really bad and the women quickly jumped to their support. The women are going to rule this one again is my guess. So soon into a challenge like that they have the pacing just right. Nice to see Stef and B.J back again [laughable how someone said 'he works hard but he doesn't seem very smart' lol]. Stef is dust quick because she's not really a tribal type. Fierce as you can get, but basically a team of one. I'm not liking the football player much. The oversized sneak! Anybody watch last night? C'mon, AG , I know you must have!

Totally surprised to see B.J. and Stef back... thought it was a stroke of genious on the producers part, though. Very shocked to see B.J. go down so early.... awww poor, cute, muscle boy. That trek in the jungle was insane. How about the big spikey tree that fell on Blake's shoulder? Poor dude. First day, first couple of hours and this guy's gotta deal with spikey tree trunks falling on him. It was good to see Stef on a winning team finally. She started crying again... wow, that girl really takes the game seriously. I didn't like the football player guy either.. first day and he's already lying about who he is? Yuck, no thank you. And that's another thing I've always griped about... these people who have money and sign up for these shows to win more money... that's so not fair. I guarantee that if the show was screened for people who desperately need money, it'd be so much more entertaining. Forget these lawyers and "Ex-Football" players who already have millions. The nurse (Margaret?) really had her hands full, huh? Bet those boys were glad to have her on their team. I was so not surprised to see Jim get the boot, what with his age and broken arm and all, and I was also not surprised to see the tribe members already considering getting rid of B.J. I doubt he or Stef will last too much longer. They proved that they were extremely tough competitors last season so why keep people who might kick your butt in challenges, right?

Awww Steph! Yay - I would love to see her go all the way but I think if it turns out there are a few lazier ones on the team then they will want her out for making them work so hard.
Weird none of the other team seemed to go down at all. No wonder they didn't win the immunity the next day with all the blokes feeling a bit rough. BJ and the eyes rolling back was a bit of a worry.

Is it me? Once again I'm having a hard time connecting with any of these people/stuff this time around. Maybe it's just that there are still too many yet to get a sensible grip on who's what. When they voted off the one tonight I was stuck in this "Who was she?" mode. It's weird - the ones I like the least are the ones I notice the most. Stef aside. I LIKE her but she's got this General "Georgia" Patton thing going. And, while being sneaky is a major factor in the game, I still don't care for the ex-footballer (that he sounds to smell like a rotten horse was just a bonus ). And that doorman? My goodness, he seems to think he's The Incredible Hulk - a super hero who, I might add, got his tribe to Tribal Council effortlessly. Call me crazy but I'm liking that Lydia! Someone with an evident personality? Sounds good to me.

Lol. I think Rafe was putting wet leaves on Lydia's shoulders to sooth the sunburn, but who knows. To be honest, I think it's the contestants this season that are so bland, because I'm totally spazzing out right now on who is even still playing, other than Steph and Bobby Jon, it's like most of them are just forgettable, and the only reason Steph and Bobby aren't forgettable is because they were burned into my memory last season. I also like Lydia, but only because no one else seems to think she's capable of anything. Never count out the little guy. (or girl in this case. ) As for most everyone else, blecchhh... Danni is pretty cool, although I'm seriously worried the girl is gonna starve to death pretty soon. Judd and Gary are just annoying. The only guys who don't annoy me are Brandon 'cause he just does his job and doesn't talk, and Jamie who I think is cute. Bobby Jon is strangely a non-issue for me this year. I totally like Amy. Her heavy Boston accent rocks and she's got a potty mouth like me when she's surprised/annoyed/shocked. She's also not a whiner and she's a tough cookie, but I guess you'd have to be tough if you're a police sargeant. Too bad about her ankle, though, she's going to be the first to go as soon as Yaxha loses again. I'm blanking out on who else is playing.. oh, yeah, Brian!!! Oh my gosh, he would so be riding my last nerve if I was stuck in a camp with him. Someone needs to tell him that there IS such a thing as having TOO MUCH pep. Geeze, where did he stash the prozac? I'm hoping Margaret brought along some Valium or something to calm that boy down, otherwise, I'm gonna have to start fast forwarding his bits. Over all, I'm very unimpressed by this set of contestants.

I just loved watching those two guys, whoever they were, pee together. NOT! Plotting and stuff while taking a leak? Delightful .

Ewww. Yes. Although it was better than all the spewing of the first couple episodes.
>>>>> [about Steph] I agree with you 100% on this one Gats. I think she needs to lighten up a little. Maybe if she does that she'll actually win a challenge sometime in this lifetime.
I wonder if she has much more pressure on her to perform than the rest of the players? Although Bobby John is as cool as ever.

I've just got to say, I wish Judd was my mate. I'd be so proud if he was. He is so intelagent, centsativ and modust.

Lol. Leave the guy alone, he's got DAA, no, wait, ADA, oh geeze, I mean ADD.
That guy is so crrraaaazzzy, I mean talk about inconsistent moods. And apperantly he's got a wife and kid... they must have to tip toe around him when he's in a "mood" or take the risk of getting eaten.
Although Margaret was just as annoying on the other end of the spectrum. Where Judd was overly verbal and aggressive, Margaret was about as nonchalant as a person can get. Talk about the ice queen. And she's a nurse and everything, I bet her patient's probably want to kill themselves after enduring a hospital nursing shift with her.
Amy, Amy, Amy... that girl is my hero. I love Amy, she's tough as nails... where most people would've quit, this chick braved the pain of severly sprained ankle and came back strong. That's the kind of stuff I like to see from contestants, if you're going to go there, at least have the heart and will and drive to give your all, rather than quit like some sissy's.
That's my rant for this week.

Yikes. I wonder if the medics on staff over there have lithium or straight jackets (or maybe horse tranquilizers?) at their disposal. There have certainly been significantly looney contestants in the past but that Judd is beyond borderline - he's over the edge! That Johnny Fairplay was your run-of-the-mill sociopath, Susan Hawk your generic paranoia-ridden sort. This new dude seems like a mass murderer on the run. I actually liked Margaret...not a very exciting player but helpful when it came to making sure these guys don't drop dead in the rigorousness of this round. I read somewhere, too, that the production people liked having her in the game since her help was invaluable in spotting health problems. Oh, well. That Amy is a champ! Bobby Jon graduates (or sinks) further in the realm of the Neanderthal (perhaps because he has to pee solo now and is lonely ?) and my darlin' Stef looks to be getting more bug-eyed with each passing week. Then there's Jabba The Judd who, I'm convinced, will end up a crazed sniper someday. Could fiction possibly be better than all of this?

I see that even Danni voted against Gary this week, does that mean that she is now part of the alliance?
How much longer can they put up with Judd, or are they hanging onto him so that he will come second , when it comes to the final votes?

At least this series is a little more animated than previous, although it didn't look like it was going to be that way at the start. I'm loving Rafe - hope he keeps going - and he really seems to have it all down pat when they do his interviews. Cindy - is that her name? They've not spent much time on her previously. You can imagine when she won reward that the editors where wondering who the heck she was.

Hasn't Steph turned a bit bitchy ... she was so nice last time around and this time she has a bit of power in the numbers game and she's all nasty. Don't get it.

NOt arguing with you but Gary has a bit of age on him, right? Would there have been the money around when he was playing as there is now - would he have made a career out of it since? (endorsements/coaching or something?) It's just he didn't seem very well known so I wonder if he is living off the spoils of his football career?

I am so happy that Judd is gone. I hope Steph is next. I was rooting for Gary, now I hope it is Danni or Rafe that wins it.
I am sure that Gary was not in on the the multi million dollar NFL contracts of today. If I recall he was a starter at one time but primarily a back up.

I actually really paid attention last night (it seems that for weeks the show was just "on" and I kinda sorta took an interest). I was confused! Judd, who I couldn't stomach initially [OK, I thought he was scary ] turned into a 'nice' guy? When? I thought he was very benevolent last night. Still a crafty one, for sure, but at least an accessible human being. That Steph betrayed him, in social terms, the way she did was ugly. In game terms maybe it was fine. All I could think, as it played out, was NO WONDER she's been dating that visiting dude for seven years and hasn't tied the knot yet. That chick is bloodthirsty! Can you imagine having a marital spat with Godzilla-ette? God, she'd likely whip out a sub-machine gun! Rafe (a surprise, too, at least how I first paid attention to him) seems like the Patron Saint of Guatemala - a little too much Opie Taylor in that one. Now I, too, find Lydia annoying. Danni is lucky. Cindy is sneakily mysterious (she'll probably win as a result). Back to Gary: for an athlete he didn't weather the storm so well so I think his football activities didn't help him much, in terms of endurance and all. That he was a footballer never really bugged me...that he made it such a big deal secret did. But, of course, who cares about honesty on "Survivor"? I think Steph is out next week unless she gets immunity. If she does things don't look so hot for Danni. Who can really guess, though?
