What happens when an editor accepts your quiz. I know what happens when they reject it because it happened to me this morning, but what about if they accept it? Do they send a message to your mailbox or do they send you an e-mail? I`m puzzled.

Ginny, you will get a mailbox message saying that your quiz is now online.

Also, do NOT be too disappointed about getting a reject note. I would hazard a guess and say that 70-80% of quizzes are rejected, especially with a new author such as yourself. Work with your editor, and it will be ready to play in no time at all.

Thanks ozzz2002.
My rejection notice said to re-read the guidelines, so I read them and then changed my quiz when I found guidelines that I had not followed. Hopefully it will get accepted this time.
Thanks again.

You may also find that some editors will correct small spelling, typo or punctuation errors and let you know they have done so. On the other hand they may reject your quiz because of such errors, and again let you know about them.
You shouldn't get annoyed about this, as the intention is to make you learn from your mistakes, and avoid similar errors in future.

Caitlan, members are not permitted to advertise their quizzes and ask people to play them. Can you imagine what this forum would be like if everyone who wrote a quiz posted such an invitation?

All the same, I would have thought it fairly obvious that all the thousands of quiz makers advertising their quiz would cause a slight blockage.
