Hi there. I began to write a quiz back in August and submitted it at the beginning of September. It was quickly returned to me with such a large number of changes requested that I queried with the editor whether the quiz was in the right category, to which he/she quickly replied. I then sent a further batch of questions concerning the changes required, as I disagreed (politely!) with some, and wanted some clarification. Two months on, I have still had no reply, so I still haven't submitted my quiz. Is there any point sending it with the changes I agree with, or will it be rejected automatically. Is there any way to 'make' an editor reply?

Hmmmm - how did you communicate with the editor? If you used the "not an error" button, and did not resubmit the quiz, the chances are very good that the editor never saw your note. If you did communicate using the 'reply' button, the editor may have deleted the note in error.
Different editors have different methods, but if this were me, I would appreciate a note from you, sent as a reply through the quiz notes, so it is easy to see the quiz. (You can find your quiz notes by clicking on the quiz name, the 'notes' link will appear underneath). Most editors are happy to discuss your opinions with you, as long as you are honestly willing to work on the quiz.

I remember your quiz and sending you a list of changes. However, I do not remember receiving a note about those changes. Please send me a note or resubmit the quiz with the changes made. Thanks.

That "Not an Error" button can cause problems. It is there for you to use when getting an invalid correction notice. It lets you privately let the editors know why you don't think you should change your quiz. It is very good and useful for that purpose, but doesn't really work for any other purpose. If you want to communicate with an editor, the reply button works best.

That's why it's always best to read the instructions before doing anything. The box below the not an error (NAE) choice is only to be used to ignore a correction/rejection notice.

For those who don't know the wording offhand, this is it: "The person who sent me this correction is incorrect. I would like the FunTrivia editors to ignore it for the following reason:"

Note that you cannot click on corrected *and* use the box to send a message at the same time. What you type in the NAE box is just attached to that specific rejection/correction notice to say why there is no error. (And please note: You should NOT use it for a rejection notice. 99.9% of the time, if an editor rejects your quiz, it means there is an error.)

Also note, if you get a correction notice from a player, please use the reply button to let the player know why you are correct and they are mistaken. Then just copy and paste what you wrote into the NAE box (and tick the "the person who sent this is incorrect" choice) so the editors know to clear that correction notice. But just doing the second part will *not* send a note to the player letting them know.
