Trident I personally find the Dalai Lama to be a fascinating mix of religious and moral ideals mixed together with practical views. He seems to be able to understand all points of view. I didn`t read that he thought a war against China was actually unjust, the article you linked to said
Quote:
Waging war for the cause of freedom can be justified but not in the case of Tibet's dream of autonomy from China, the Dalai Lama told an audience at Stanford University.
in the first pararaph but didn`t quote the Dalai Lama as saying that at all, I think the headline was typical of most newspapers, misleading and sensationalistic. He said Quote:
"We must follow nonviolent principle so that later we can live happily."
Fighting a war of independence with China would also take a vast arsenal that Tibet lacks, he added.
. Practical and idealistic.
