I stand corrected. When I first heard about the Home Depot 'glued to the toilet seat' story in another FunTrivia post, I submitted a reply that treated the matter as a joke; I assumed that it was. Or someone out to make some easy money with a lawsuit, sort of like the 'finger in the chili' lady. After reading the above, I realize that it was far from a joke.

I apologize to anyone who was offended by my comments.

Don't be too awfully hard on yourself, Vendome.This situation had all the earmarks of ' greed gone wild'.
I think many of us realize that under the satire and bluster, you are soft hearted and would never want to hurt an innocent person intentionally.

I just re-read that thread and I don't think you have any need to apologise Vendome... Doubting the veracity of news stories or compensation claims isn't a crime. Nor is having a sense of humour.

Vendome I still see it as a joke myself and feel no need to say sorry. If he was glued in there by pranksters or if he glued himself in there I still find it amusing, I`m thinking my own sense of humour isn`t very p.c. Though I`m still looking for "the above" and thinking you do indeed have a strange sense of humour yourself.
