Hm, I think before passing judgement I'd like to see this story confirmed. Was it really Jackson or a lookalike, and were the rooms as clearly marked as they ought to be - not always the case in Arab countries. Also I can't see the Dubai police being 'impressed' by anybody's bodyguards, least of all those of a pop singer. They'd simply have been arrested along with Jackson if they'd been involved in a breach of Dubai's strict morality laws.

Jackson's antics don't surprise me at all, and it seems he's still as wierd as ever. This incident is pretty minor compared to some of his other escapades. Shame really when he's had so much going for him and so much talent, but it 'takes all sorts' as the saying goes.
What did surprise me was the account of the Dubai Police allowing Jackson's bodyguards to 'confiscate' a woman's camera. From the lnks given by Sue though, it seems to have been the police themselves who insisted the camera be handed over to have the pictures deleted, as they were taken in infringement of Dubai law.

In the place where I shopped in Monaco when I lived there, they had a picture of him crawling on the floor with his head draped as he escaped photographers. Monaco's pretty safe with 400 police officers per 1.6 square miles. So I guess he was scared even then.
