Butterflysm I LOVED Dogma!! i thought it was absolutely hysterical and biting. Just loved it to pieces.

I think the worst movie I saw last year and was ticked I wasted money on was Eyes Wide Shut. What a stinker. That one note piano, Tom Cruise trying to be "torn", Nicole Kidman ogling herself, and a completely UN-erotic story that was supposed to be sooo erotic. It was horrible. Hated it.

Moving this topic up to the top to add to the new one. (Since this one's getting long anyway, I'm going to go ahead and close it. Post new replies in the other thread.)

Just to re-ignite the debate after far too long……Hudson Hawk is definitely up there, but the only movie I have ever walked out on was Joe and the Volcano. It seems Tom Hanks has had some REAL stinkers.

I never really had a worst movie. (I used to say "Mars Attacks" but I saw it when I was too young to understand that it was SUPPOSED to be silly) ANYway,I have one now: Uptown Girls. *shudder* It just looked like such a cute movie. Now I didn't think I'd be astounded or anything but c'mon. The ending was too cheesy and kind of made me mad. *SPOILER ALERT* I kept thinking (and hoping) she wouldn't really take him back because he sang a song. Then I realized I just didn't care either way. Oh,well.

The worst recent movie I've seen? One strong candidate is the "Cheaper by the Dozen" remake. The dozen kids made Dennis the Menace look saintly! And Steve Martin, I think sabotaged his career by letting these punky little demons stomp all over him! The younger ones were absolute demons! And Bonnie Hunt was a walking stereotype! Surely someone MUST remember Clifton Webb and Myrna Loy in the charming 50's original, based on the best-selling memoir! And a Cuban cigar to ANYONE who remembers any line said by Hilary Duff! (Betcha this made her long for her "Lizzie McGuire" days!)

Is it just me, or is Hollywood basing more and more "family comedies" on two-bit TV sitcoms?...hey, wait a minute! What about the "Leave It To Beaver", "Dennis The Menace" and "Brady Bunch" flicks? GASP!!! You don't think they'll re-do the "PARTRIDGE FAMILY", DO YOU?
