These recordings leave a moving, emotional and warm remembrance of Lennon ("John Ono Lennon") in words and music.
They are available courtesy of WHYY's 'Living Voices' (National Public Radio) and should last a little over one hour:

Particularly fascinating is the discussion of the Beatles' break-up from Lennon's perspective. To paraphrase and condense:
Both John and George became increasingly unhappy since Paul sought and was receiving most of the press and fan attention. As a result, McCartney appointed himself the group's 'spokeperson'. John and George began to feel like background singers (like the Supremes became to Diana Ross). To keep his power and the group's popularity intact, Paul began insisting on identical suits and haircuts for performances, the same song type/style, etc.
John and George wanted to move on, not stand still; exercise creativity through experimentation and so on. Lennon's marriage to Ono didn't help!
Enjoy! Well, maybe not enjoy.
Imagine?
