The parentheses after the name of a category folder includes not only the number of quizzes but the number of new quizzes.

I like the feature, and pay attention to it when I'm looking through a category. I think there's a little more traffic on new quizzes included.

Some of my new quizzes have been included in ths count, some have not. I'd like to be included more regularly. Is the difference between having the marker or not merely an arbitrary result of a software glitch? Or is there a system I can learn to use whenever submitting a quiz that would make a difference?

I received a note from an editor saying that that "new quiz" marker automatically comes, but sometimes it takes a while. It's just a matter of time.

I went back and checked. I have three quizzes that all have the yellow "new" marker on the quiz itself. One was posted on November 20, one November 27, and one December 12. Oddly, the November 27 quiz shows up as a "new" in the parentheses after the category folder, but neither of the other two do. Something beyond waiting for an automatic trigger appears to be going on.
