Hi Everyone,

I have just seen the lastest James Bond film 'The World is not Enough' and I have to say it is fantastic. The style of the film goes back to it's roots and is certainly one of the best.

On the subject...Who is your favorite James Bond Actor ?
PLUS....What James Bond film is your favorite ?

My favorite actor is Pierce Brosnan but my favorite James Bond film is Dr.No....

Most surely Sean Connery. Did I spell that right? If not,I think you know who I am talking about. I just love everything he does. I don't care for James Bond movies, but, when he was in them I watched them. He reminds me of my dad.

My favourite Bond is Sean Connery, closely followed by Pierce Brosnan.

I really didn't like Roger Moore's Bond - too English!! (Bond is actually a Scot in the books)

My opinion:

Connery is Bond. No two ways about it.

However, I grew up with Moore as Bond, so I have to put him second.

My favorite movie is "Moonraker." It was the first I'd seen, and I loved it. I love Richard Keel (Jaws) - turned out to be such a good guy!

(Oh, great, the theme song's stuck in my head, now. :-/ )

Moonraker was also my first Bond film I ever saw in the cinema. I remember my Uncle waking me and my cousin up and telling us he was going to take us to see a film. I loved it. Jaws was superb and I do like Moore BUT Brosnan is a lot better.

Sean Connery gets my vote. I read Ian Fleming when I was in high school and that was before any Bond flicks even existed. Pretty risque stuff at the time. Then Goldfinger and Dr. No came out and since then Bond has always been Connery. Unfortunately, I think that association was a double edged sword for Connery who had a hard time disassociating himself from that role when he felt it was time to move on.

PS - Does anyone remember the Matt Helm movies with Dean Martin (I believe) that tried to cash in on the popularity of that whole secret agent thing at the time?
