If you haven't seen this film and are wondering whether to, then I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it. The photography is stunning and if you can get over the slightly sickly narrative then it is wonderful. There is an element of 'Ahhh' but dont' let that put you off. I will be buying it on DVD when it is available.

I agree, Sue. It's a stunning movie. How the penguins survive the seventy-some miles from the sea to their breeding grounds, and back to the sea is a miracle.

I haven't watched it yet (my fiance gave away the copy he got for free at work to his sister because he thought we wouldn't watch it!), but we do have the 'coffee table book' that work also gave him.

Here's the website my fiance did for the movie: http://www.nationalgeographic.com/marchofthepenguins/
