What's your favourite part of the show? What keeps you hooked?

I like the story line and the characters especially Jim!

I enjoy this show as well. I'll admit that it brings me to tears every episode. I am a big sap for those kinds of things, however.

I would probably say that my favourite part is usually when the ghost can finally relay his message (via Melinda) to the living loved one.

What keeps me hooked is usually the "unfinished business". I need to know what problem or message the ghost needs to resolve in order to cross over.

I like that Melinda's husband and best friend are aware of her abilities. It's nice that they don't fear her or think her strange because she becomes distracted by a spiritual visitor. I also get a chuckle when she avoids making eye contact with a spirit - although it would be interesting to meet more who are waiting to "cross over".

Does anyone have a favorite episode? I've seen most if not all that have aired but I'd have to say I like the one with the the adopted boy who never met his birth mother best.
