In Clint Eastwood's directorial debut, "Play Misty For Me", he cast director Don Siegel in a cameo as a bartender. In return, when Siegel helmed "Dirty Harry", he repaid Eastwood by showing a movie marquee advertising Eastwood's movie. Also, in the scene where Harry is being ran around town by Scorpio, he passes a graffiti-covered subway wall that has the name of his son Kyle on it.
