We don't go to the movies at all. We either rent the video or wait till they come on TV. This weekend we got free HBO and late last night they had L.A. Confidential. Even though we were exhausted, we couldn't stop watching. Both of us thought it was really great. The acting was superb and although you guessed who the "bad guys" were, it was so well done you really had to wait till the end. Anyone else see it? Like it? Dislike it?

Baglady, my husband loved this movie. We rented it also. I only was able to see parts of the movie. I was working on something else at the time, but what I did see, I liked. I love that era of dress. Don't you??

Hi

My hubby and I saw this when it was on TV recently. It was superb - acting was great, story was excellent, and the feel of the movie was very dramatic!

Sandalwood...not only the dress of the 50's, but those cars were so excellent! You ought to try and see the whole movie when you get a chance (some day if FT ever goes down long enough for any of us to get anything done!)
