Can someone please tell me if it's possible to save a radio programme if it's broadcast over the Internet? If so, how?

Yes, it should be possible. I've never done it, and I have no experience with the following sites, but they looked at least half decent. Hope they're any good.

It certainly is as a show I listen to every week is archived by one of the listeners for distribution. There must be an option in one of the radio players but I've never tried it, if no one here knows the program let me know and I'll pass you on to the person who saves the one I listen to.

I can't find a programme that will do a long show .. .the free ones seem to only go about 45 seconds and the free trial of one that I got shuts down every five minutes.

Sata? Can you ask your mate which programme they use? Ta

And it's hard to believe that someone in the north west of England can hear me being mentioned on Leeds BBC.

The Tommy Boyd programme is slightly different to many others. A listener (officially) records every one and though streaming has been available it's usually downloaded as a massive 40mb 4 hour chunk, which takes up to an hour on broadband and all day on dialup, but means the lot is already taped for you and can be copied onto cassette or CD as soon as saved in your files.
Tommy Boyd forum is where the system it can be found and the person in charge can be PMd and pick his brains as to how you can probably do the same for every streamed audio service as he isn't using anything unusual I'm sure. And I'm also on most of the last few month's programmes so an extra reason to download Tommy's probably the cleverest presenter I've heard, and been on on and off for 20 years.
