They don't have to be - your best one is out *sob*

My mind is blank as to what bad memories you mean. I tend to put things in a little corner of my mind, under lock and key, and are only ever brought out when I really need to punish myself or if I really need to get angry ... (which could explain a hell of a lot about the grudge test!)

Injury after injury for Tigers now - first Benji now Brett Hodgeson is out for a month with a broken hand. Ugh. But still it was a great win on Sunday against Cronulla. Souths still without a win and North Queensland still without a loss.

Hopefully only one to go - cause I would hate the thought of a State of Origin decider being played in Melbourne ...

On the eve of State of Origin 2, someone has painted the statue of Wally Lewis, at Suncorp Stadium, a lovely shade of blue!

Story here

Hopefully, the good guys (New South Wales), can wrap up the series tonight. Go Blues!

LOL - I love it. Carn the blues. Not really much of a build up is it? Hopefully the QLD crowd will stir things up a bit.

Hear that Willie Mason is thinking about moving to NFL? They can have him

No buildup at all- every sports show has gone soccer-mad!

Would Mason even be allowed into the US? He has some shadows on his character.. Wonder if they would accept a package deal- Hoppa could join him!

That fight was an embarrasment- I am just glad he had gloves on.

Hmm- did you get change from $5? hehe. I would guess about $140, and am probably not even close.

Nah too much, but still seventy I'm wondering whether to get it signed by a few of those players now - but I've always thought it was cheating to get things signed yonks later than when they were actually playing. Will have to think about it.

I think I should close this thread before we are swamped by cane toads..

Jill, I think that programme would be better off in its pristine state, but of you can get hold of another, I would get it signed by as many players as you can find!

Nearly nine hours until we even get a response! And we can trust Blinky ... I reckon any non-Australians are vulnerable in here. (except maybe the odd Kiwi and let's face it they're all odd ) Muwhahahaha!

The NRL thread - subtitled "where Australians can plot against the rest of the world"

Lucky for you Ozzz I'm so lazy: was thinking on Friday arvo to get a bet going with you for Saturday's game but didn't get around to it. Bugger. How about from now on we say for every Tigers/Roosters match we have a lottery ticket on it. You may as well just go and by them the week before ...

Damn, I was going to suggest a bet, too.

And you are on! See you in the finals...

Oh for the good old days when they played off for the final top 5 position. (top 5, remember that??) Balmain struggling to get into the top 8 on differential, Cowboys on the brink of dropping down if they don't get a win or two soon. Like Easts last year. Does make for a pretty even comp and who knows what's going to happen from year to year.

Benji Marshall is out for the season. Again. It's his shoulder. Again. Doesn't look like we'll be anywhere near the finals. (again )
