The best Valentine's gift is a book, of course!

Happy Valentine's day, everyone!

Hey! You're right, and that is exactly what I got! A book, nestled in the arms of a giant red teddy bear.

My best Valentine's Day was when I gave the current "him in my life" a book of the art of Olivia. She does modern day Varga paintings of women.

I wrote something very personal on the black inside cover with luminescent silver ink. Then I took some clear stamping medium and painted the outside of my lips and put my kiss in the book. Added some silver embossing sparkles to the lip marks, some heat to set the silver lips and after he unwrapped his present?

Well, he never did take me out to that restaurant and I've rarely felt happier.

This year I gave another man I'd like to know a book and well....wasted a good book.
